Office Manager – Operations
£23,885 per annum pro rata
Part time (16 hours – to be worked over 4 days a week)
ippr’s operations team are looking for a confident and organised office manager to play a key role in supporting the overall organisation, through the provision of a professional and safe working environment in keeping with the high standards of the organisation.
The post holder will perform a wide ranging role including; acting as a key contact for property and office queries (internal and external), liaising with the landlord’s agent and tenants, managing external supplier relationships and monitoring contracts and suppliers, taking responsibility for health and safety and general office systems such as IT, reception, space planning, archiving and security.
The successful applicant will have demonstrable office management experience including experience of managing supplier relationships and knowledge of health and safety requirements within this context. They will also need to take initiative and have exceptional communication skills to manage internal and external relationships with tact and diplomacy, as well as having excellent organisational skills in order to meet conflicting demands and carry out work duties to a consistently high standard. A commitment to the work of the ippr is also desirable.
